Octavian, 44-27 BC. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.84 g, 12 h), uncertain Italian mint, possibly Rome or Brundisium, autumn 32-summer 31 BC. Bare head of Octavian to right. Rev. CAESAR DIVI•F Pax standing front, head to left, holding olive-branch in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left. BMC 605. Cohen 69. RIC 252. A lightly toned example with a wonderful portrait. Light areas of weakness and a flan fault on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
